Let’s Get Social by Ryan Deiss and Kate Buck Jr. (Mostly Kate Buck Jr.)
– What You Get
The course is built around an online membership site.
Let’s Get Social has six basic training modules, a resource section, four coaching calls and a guest interview. There is a continuity option if you want to continue to learn from Kate.
There are also upsells on offer but my affiliate statistics show that these are not considered essential.
The six modules are:
Introduction to becoming a social media manager
Branding You
Service Offerings
Doing the Work
Finding Clients
Nuts & Bolts
You get the usual Ryan Deiss st
There is a Resource Section if you are new to social media which gives you the basic tools and guidance on how to use them.
You also get sample forms like client contracts, invoices and questionnaires that you can adapt for your social media business.
Four coaching calls are also offered in Let’s Get Social where you can get your questions answered by Kate.
Kate does so well as a social media manager because she’s built a small team to do much of the work while she concentrates on finding new clients. If you don’t fancy the idea of building your own little team, you need to scale back your possible earning expectations. Social media still takes time.
Perhaps one of the most valuable things included in Let’s Get Social is the right to use the brand and logos of Let’s Get Social.
First it stops you having to worry and secondly, if the brand does well it gives familiarity to your services and moves you along the "know, like and trust" buying chain.
On the downside, if you have other local Let’s Get Social competitors, then it becomes difficult to differentiate yourself.
I recommend dual branding from the beginning so you get your name or your business name out there with the Let’s get Social name.
