The Fall in this chart had ten entries, none of which made the top ten. In that top ten, eight of the tracks featured women.

Only two Peel session tracks (The Fall’s Ladybird and PJ Harvey’s Naked Cousin) made an appearance, and only one record (first released the previous year – Radiohead’s Creep) had not been previously played on Peel’s shows.
